Master Bath Mood Board
If you've been following along you probably already know that we are working on our master bathroom (among a million other things) and are now in the upswing. If you missed the demo you can find it here and here.

I've had our little dining room on hold for far too long. So, I've finally got up the gumption to get it started.
When I started planned our dining room I gravitated towards a coral and blue color combination.
Here are a just few of the photos that inspired my color choice.
It's finally here. The reveal of my family kitchen command center. I bet you thought is was never going to come! Sometimes life likes to interject, doesn't it? #lifesfunnythatway
This command center was certainly a "labor" of love. We built the pockets from scratch and they kind of gave us a run for our money. Not to mention, I swear, I sabotaged myself several times by shooting nails out of the sides of them. Sometimes a half inch just isn't enough space ya know?
I finally got around to finishing the master bedroom design idea mood board.
I originally started designing based off of a piece of art that we had. The further I got into into the design I wasn't liking how the picture fit in. So, we decided to use it in a different space.
There were a few spaces that lent inspiration to my overall scheme.
I love the color of this space and how bright and cheery it is.
Bringing in the New Year usually leads to resolutions that many times have to do with organization. So, I thought I'd quickly share with you how I organized my closet.
We finally came to an agreement on the kitchen! Hallelujah! I was, for real, ready to poke my own eye out. No joke.
After much back and forth, deliberating, tantrum throwing, and a pinch of "don't make me slap you" we finally both came up with a kitchen design we love.
I've been helping a friend redecorate her daughter's bedroom. Everything needed to stay on a very budget friendly basis. So, in comes the free art. Well, minus the cost of the Nyttja frames, which were only $12 for six frames. Thanks Ikea!
Since the daughter loves dogs so much, and the room was taking a slightly modern colorful approach, I thought some silhouetting of dogs was in order.
Over the next couple of days I'm trying to put together a few design ideas for all three bedrooms. I started yesterday on the girls room and this is where I am so far.
With the holidays in full swing the Christmas family photo cards are everywhere.
The options are endless when it comes to family photo cards. There are so many places that will do them for you. All you have to do it pick a card and upload your photos, they do the rest. One of my favorite sites for this is tinyrpints.com. I love theirs options, their layouts, and their designs. So, if that is the road you would like to take then that is my recommendation.
For some reason this year I had a hard stinkin' time getting myself to decorate. Maybe I'm too focused on remodeling our house to think about decoration, but in any case we finally got some Christmas up in this hizzy (too gangsta?).
