A Nursery to Be

A little while ago I shared a nursery plan that I have been putting together for a friend of mine who is expecting.  If you don't remember, you can see it here.

We are still in the collaboration and purchase stage so I thought I'd share the before space with you.

The room as you walk in.

It has two cute little corner windows that provide a nice amount of light and should be a great little spot to sit and read/play.  And that corner nook is the future home of lots of rocking and cuddles.

We are hoping to fit the rocking chair and a small side table in there, and a few other "things" to be revealed at a later time.

To the right of that is a nice sized closet just waiting to be filled with cute clothes and some other imaginative extras.

And opposite of that is a nice long wall for a dresser and some other storage.

There are a few things in this room that must stay for now, i.e. trim color and carpeting, so we will be working with those as best we can. 

All in all I think it's going to look fantastic in the end.
